Shabu-shabu is a classic Japanese hotpot dish of thinly sliced beef and vegetables simmered in dashi (broth) water and served with dipping sauces made from our delicious A5 Japanese Wagyu.
Submerging a thin slice of meat or a vegetable in a saucepan of boiling water or dashi (broth) cooked with konbu (kelp) and stirring it is how the meal is produced. Before eating, ponzu or goma (sesame seed) sauce is commonly dipped into cooked meat and vegetables. Our A5 NY Striploin slice is made with the highest grade of Japanese wagyu.
