One of the most popular seasoning to go with the Motsu Nabe is the yuzu-kosho condiment offered in the restaurant. A blend of chili peppers and yuzu citrus create a delectable and zesty flavor to eat with not only yakitori and grilled meat, but also with hot-pots. This special condiment, said to have first originated in Kyushu, brings a whole new level of complexity to each dish, truly enhancing the flavors. Shin-sen Gumi’s yuzu-kosho is an original recipe and is available for purchase in restaurants*.
- CHILI PEPPER
Shin-Sen-Gumi has made a name for itself as a ramen chain restaurant and has gained popularity due to their customizable bowls where you can choose the broth, toppings, and even the firmness of the noodles. But not as many people are aware that Shin-Sen-Gumi also has a yakitori restaurant located in Gardena, California. The yakitori and neighboring hot-pot restaurant opened in 1992, and has since been providing people with a casual place to enjoy meat skewers, beer, and nabe (hot pot).
