The Kashiwa ramen is run and founded by two people with extensive background in the food industry field. Hiromitsu Yamanouchi in Southern California and his business partner Hideto Kawahara have partnered to bring some of the authentic taste of ramen to the United States through their restaurant, "The Kashiwa Ramen."
Hideto Kawahara is known by some as the true " ramen master." He followed his father's footsteps working in the ramen industry and opened his first restaurant in 1993. Since then, he has been creating tonkotsu ramen recipes that are authentic but uniquely his own. He has continued to open more restaurants and to date he has 9 locations in Japan and 11 more in other countries.
Hiromitsu Yamanouchi has operated a gelato business in Chandler and Mesa Arizona before settling in Southern California to open his ramen business. He was trained by Hideto in Odaiba for an extensive amount of time.
Kashiwa Ramen was established in 2018. Created by Hideto Kawahara from Fukuoka, Japan. He has several ramen shop in NYC. (Hide-chan ramen and Totto Ramen)
